Sales, Scripts & Objections

The four objections you'll hear every day and one clean answer to each

Not scripts to memorize. Answers to understand, so your own words land.

"I already have coverage." Good. What kind, how much, who's the beneficiary, and does it go with the job? Most group life leaves with the badge. Most "I have a policy" turns out to be a smaller amount than the family would need, or nothing at all.

"It's too expensive." Compared to what? Then size the coverage to the budget instead of the budget to the coverage. A 10,000 policy that stays in force beats a 25,000 policy that lapses at month three.

"I need to talk to my spouse." Invite them in. "When's a good time for the three of us?" A decision made together persists; a decision made alone gets reversed at dinner.

"Send me something in the mail." Ask what they'd be looking for in it. Then give them that now. If they truly want it in writing, email the summary while you're on the phone and stay on the line.

Reply with the objection you hear most and the answer that works in your market. Field and phone answers differ, so say which you're in.
