Team Chat and sales wins: what a team sees when a policy is written
by InsuraCentralStaff27d ago2 views
Agency owners wanted two things from Team Chat: a place to talk that isn't a group text on personal phones, and a signal when someone writes business. Both are in.
Chat. Channels for the team, direct messages, file sharing for the carrier guide someone needs at a kitchen table. It lives in the app, so it's on the same screen as the work.
Sales wins. When a policy is issued or marked sold, a win posts to the team automatically with the product and the premium. No one has to announce it and no one can forget to. The effect on a team is the same effect a bell has in a call center, without the bell.
Leaderboard and Rewards. The same events feed the Leaderboard and the Rewards program, so the win in chat, the position on the board and the points all come from one record.
For owners. The pipeline and dial efficiency views sit next to the chat, so "why is this agent quiet" has an answer in the data before it becomes a conversation.
Etiquette that works. Wins in the wins channel, questions in the questions channel, and a rule that nobody posts client details. The same rule as the forum.
What's your team's chat rule that keeps it useful instead of noisy?
