InsuraCentral vs AgencyBloc: a producer CRM and an agency management system are different jobs
by InsuraCentralStaff13d ago2 views
Agents ask which one to buy as if they're substitutes. They mostly aren't. Ours is the first one, so read with that in mind.
AgencyBloc is an agency management system. Its center of gravity is the book: policies, carriers, commission statements, renewals, reconciliation, reporting for the owner. If you manage a benefits agency or a large multi-line book where the money arrives on forty different carrier statements, that's the problem it solves and it solves it well.
InsuraCentral is a producer CRM. Its center of gravity is the day: the leads, the dialer, the texts, the quote, the application, the callback. The policy record is there, and so is the team view for an owner, but the product exists to make the next call and the next close faster.
Pick AgencyBloc if commission reconciliation is a real job in your agency, you have staff who live in reports, and your producers are fed appointments rather than dialing cold.
Pick InsuraCentral if your producers dial and text all day, you write final expense, mortgage protection or term from leads, and you'd rather have the dialer and the lead record be the same thing.
Can you run both? Some agencies do: producers in the CRM, the back office in the management system. It costs two subscriptions and a data export, and for most agencies under twenty producers it's more than they need.
If you've made either choice and regretted it, that's the most useful reply this thread can get.
