Best dialer for life insurance agents in 2026: single line, multi-line, and what spam scoring changed

Three years ago the dialer question was about speed. In 2026 it's about answer rates, because the carriers' spam scoring changed the game. Here's how agents on the floor pick.

What changed. Phone carriers score outbound numbers on volume, answer patterns and complaints. A number that dials four hundred times a day with a low answer rate gets labeled, and then nobody picks up regardless of the script. Triple dialing the same lead from the same number is the fastest way to get there.

Single-line power dialer. One call at a time, you hear every ring, the next number dials when you disposition. Best for fresh leads, callbacks and anything you paid real money for. Slower per hour, better per lead.

Multi-line dialer. Several lines ring at once, the first answer goes to you. Best for aged data and long lists where the per-lead value is low. Needs number rotation and area-code matching or you'll burn your numbers in a week. Has compliance rules on abandoned calls; know them.

What to look for in either. Local presence by area code, automatic number rotation, spam-score monitoring with replacement, dial windows per time zone, and the disposition writing straight to the lead record. A dialer that doesn't write to the record is a phone, not a system.

Our setup. The InsuraCentral dialer does both modes from the same lead list, with the rotation and windows built in, because agents kept asking us to fix answer rates and the fix was never the script. That's our product and our bias.

Post your answer rate and your setup. That number, per setup, is what this thread is for.
