Underwriting & Case Help Pinned
How to post a case here so you get a real answer

Post the case, not the client. This is the template, and the replies get better the more of it you fill in.
- Age, sex, state. Rates and rules change by all three.
- Tobacco. Any nicotine, what kind, last use.
- Build. Height and weight.
- Conditions with dates. "Type 2 diabetes, diagnosed 2015, oral meds only, last A1C around 7." Not "diabetes".
- Medications. The list tells us what the client forgot to mention.
- Hospitalizations, surgeries, and anything in the last 12 months.
- Coverage amount and budget. A 15,000 level case and a 250,000 term case are different conversations.
- What you've tried. Carriers that declined or rated, and why.
What never goes here: names, dates of birth, contact details, policy numbers, addresses. The screening blocks them, and the mods remove anything it misses.
Replies should say which tier or table they'd expect, which carriers have taken that profile recently, and when. Underwriting guides move; a "we placed it in March" answer beats a guess.
